Iran observes five days of national mourning over the death of President Ebrahim Raisi

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, 63, has died in a helicopter crash.  Besides President Raisi, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian, Governor of East Azerbaijan Province Malek Rahmati and religious leader Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem were also killed in the crash.  They were all in the same helicopter.  Iran has declared five days of national mourning over the death of President Ebrahim Raisi.  The funeral ceremony for the president and his entourage will be held in Tabriz on May21.
