Sela Tunnel: Sela Tunnel recognized by International Book of Honor

England's International Book of Honor has officially recognized the Sela Tunnel as the tallest tunnel in the country.
The 2.598 km long tunnel is located at an altitude of 13,000 feet on the Tezpur-Tawang road.  And it is constructed by Border Roads Organization (BRO) India.  The road will ensure year-round connectivity in the strategically important Tawang region.
Arunachal chief minister wrote on his handle on social media Twitter,
"I am delighted to know that England's International Book of Honor has recognized Sela Tunnel as the tallest tunnel in the country. It's 2.598 km long of engineering," the Arunachal Chief Minister wrote on his handle on social media Twitter  Amazing @BROindia on the Tezpur-Tawang road at an altitude of 13000 feet which has significantly speeded up connectivity in the strategic area of ​​Arunachal Pradesh."
