The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has welcomed a new member to its leadership team. Sunil Kumar Yadav, an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, has been appointed director of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT), Sunil Kumar Yadav was appointed under the Central Staffing Scheme. The order specifies that Yadav’s tenure as Director of MoHUA will be for a period of five years from the date of assumption of office or till the next order, whichever comes first.
The DOPT order also directed that Yadav be immediately relieved of his present duties so that he can take up his new role in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. This drastic change ensures a seamless integration of Yadav into his new responsibilities.
