The government-owned National Highway Authority of India (NHAI)'s 'One Vehicle, One Fastag' norm came into force on Monday (April 1).  This is intended to discourage the use of one fastag for multiple vehicles or the linking of multiple fastags from one vehicle.

A senior official told PTI that more than one fastag can no longer be installed on a vehicle.  “People who have multiple fastags for one vehicle will not be able to use them from April 1,” he said.
