Finland has won the title of the world's happiest country for the seventh consecutive year.  According to the United Nations' 'World Happiness Report' on Wednesday, Nordic countries continue to dominate the ranking of happy countries.  After Finland, Denmark, Iceland and Sweden are named in this list.
Researchers say that the people of Finland's connection with nature and healthy work-life balance are the main reasons for their happiness.  Finns see success in life beyond economic growth; social security, trust in government institutions, low corruption, good education and health care also contribute to their well-being.
On the other hand, Afghanistan remains at the bottom of the ranking of happy countries in the list of 143 countries included in the survey, which is facing continuous humanitarian crises since the Taliban came back to power in 2020.
