The name of the new Chief Minister of Haryana has been announced. Nayab Singh Saini will be the new Chief Minister of Haryana from the BJP. In Haryana, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had resigned after the breakdown of the alliance between the BJP and the Jananayak Janata Party (JJP). The BJP has since handed over the command of Haryana to Nayeb Singh Saini.
Nayeb Singh Saini is currently the Lok Sabha MP from Kurukshetra constituency. He was elected as an MLA from Naraingarh Assembly in 2014 and was the Minister of State in the Haryana Government in 2016.
