Delhi Police Action on Ashneer Grover: Former BharatPay MD Ashneer Grover's problems are not abating.  He was not allowed to travel to the UK with his wife Madhuri Jain Grover at the end of March.  According to a report in the Indian Express, Delhi Police has rejected his request to travel abroad as a guest speaker at the London School of Economics and the University of Warwick.  The investigating officer of the Economic Offenses Branch (EOW) of Delhi Police had in late February requested the former Bharat Pay MD and his wife to seek permission to travel abroad.
According to a report in the Indian Express, he had sought permission to travel to the UK between March 9 and 15.  During this time he was a guest speaker at the London School of Economics and the University of Warwick.  After examining his request, the investigating officer refused.  Earlier in May, the EOW had registered an FIR against Grover and other family members for alleged misappropriation of money and causing damage of Rs 81 crore to Resilient Innovation Pvt Ltd.
