Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of his proposed Jammu and Kashmir today, from where he attacked the Opposition over family politics. This is the Prime Minister's first visit to Kashmir since Section 370 was lifted. The Prime Minister addressed the gathering from Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar.
PM Modi has inaugurated 53 development projects worth Rs 6,400 crore from Bakshi Stadium. This is the Prime Minister's first visit to Kashmir since Section 370 was lifted. He linked the BJP with Kashmir, saying that lotus blooms in the lakes here and the BJP's election symbol is the lotus. Everyone knows the BJP's relationship with Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the benefit of 370 was for the common Kashmiri or some political families were misleading the people of their favour. Today is not 370, so today the sentiments of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are being respected.
"People from more than 50 cities of the country besides Jammu and Kashmir are joining us," he said. The government has identified 40 places to be developed as tourist destinations in the next two years. During his visit to Jammu and Kashmir, he inaugurated 53 development projects worth Rs 6,400 crore from PS Bakshi Stadium. So there 1000 thousand youth will give appointment letters for employment.
