There is good news for passengers traveling by train.  Now, like Zomato, Swiggy will deliver hot food to passengers on the train.  Yes, Swiggy has officially partnered with Indian Railways IRCTC for this.  Although the service is currently launched in a few cities, it could be rolled out to all cities in the near future.  The service will be available in Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada from March 12, 2024.
Only passengers with tickets will be able to book food from Swiggy on trains.  You have to enter your PNR number in the IRCTC app and select the railway station where you want their food to be delivered.  The IRCTC app will then show all partner restaurants of Swiggy in the region.
