Every year 28 February is being celebrated as National Science Day in the country, on this day the famous Indian scientist CV Raman had announced the Raman Effect. For which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in the year 1930. In honor of this discovery, this day is celebrated as National Science Day since 1986. On this day, many programs are organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology across the country.
The main objective of celebrating National Science Day is to attract students towards science, take the country forward in the field of science and inspire new inventions.
