Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached his home state Gujarat. He reached Bet Dwarka temple this morning and offered darshan and worship here. After this he will inaugurate the newly constructed Sudarshan Bridge. Built at a cost of approximately Rs 980 crore, this cable bridge connects Okha mainland to Bet Dwarka Island. Sudarshan Setu is the longest cable bridge in the country. Its length is 2.32 kilometers. The Prime Minister will also visit Dwarkadhish Temple and will offer darshan and worship there.
Prime Minister Modi will today lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 52,250 crore in Gujarat, which include important sectors like health, roads, railways, energy, petroleum and natural gas, tourism. PM will dedicate Rajkot, Bathinda, Rae Bareli, Kalyani and Mangalagiri AIIMS to the nation today. PM Narendra Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the new Mundra-Panipat pipeline project. He will also dedicate to the nation the Rajkot-Okha, Rajkot-Jetalsar-Somnath and Jetalsar-Wansjaliya rail electrification projects.
