Sukh Ashray Yojana: In Himachal Pradesh, the government led by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu announced the Sukh Ashray Yojana for destitute children in the state on January 1, 2023. Under this scheme, the government is giving benefits under the law to such children who do not have parents.
The state government is giving subsidy to destitute children for festival allowance, social security, higher education, vocational training, skill development and setting up micro industries. Himachal Pradesh government has so far spent an amount of Rs 7 crore 53 lakh 54 thousand 062 under this scheme. This amount has been spent till January 15, 2024.
