A decision has been taken to discontinue the old Google Pay app in America. That means now its old version will not work. The 'GPay' app visible on the Android homescreen is the old version which was used for payments and finance.
The app was launched to establish better relationships and business with people. With this, information about purchase history could also be obtained. With its help, it was supposed to help users control expenses. According to the report, GPay will stop working in America from June 4, 2024. However, users of India and Singapore do not need to worry about this. Because GPay will continue to work fully at both the places.
