Newsdesk:
Today finally the 'Supreme' decision has come in the Chandigarh Mayor election.  The Supreme Court canceled the election results held on January 30 and declared Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Kuldeep Kumar the winner.  In its decision, the court strongly reprimanded election officer Anil Masih.  The court said that the RO not only forcibly interfered in the electoral process of the country, but also lied in the court.  The court has issued a notice holding Anil Masih guilty for this entire rigging.  Masih has been given 3 weeks time to respond to this notice.
According to lawyers, Anil Masih is in the clutches of the law in this case.  The whole world has seen his actions through CCTV footage and the order has been given by the country's top court, so now his chances of survival are very less.  However, following the principles of natural justice, the court has given full opportunity to present its explanation.  If they are able to satisfy the court by presenting their arguments and evidence, then they may get some concession, otherwise the punishment is sure to fall on them in March.
