TMC MP Mimi Chakraborty submitted resignation to Mamata Banerjee

Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mimi Chakraborty has resigned from her post in West Bengal.  Mimi Chakraborty has submitted her resignation to party chief Mamata Banerjee. The actress says that she is unhappy with the local leadership of TMC on her seat.  In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Mimi Chakraborty had won from Jadavpur seat.
 Mimi said that she is unhappy with the local TMC leadership in her seat.  Actually, she has not submitted her resignation to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, so technically she has only announced her decision.  This will not be considered as a formal resignation.
 Mimi Chakraborty is a famous name in Bengali industry.  Mimi was born on 11 February 1989 in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal.  Mimi Chakraborty started her career in 2012 with the film Champion.  She worked in more than 25 successful films in the Bengali industry.  Seeing Mimi's popularity, TMC made her its candidate in 2019.
 BJP had given ticket to Anupam Hazra to contest against Mimi Chakraborty, while Vikas Ranjan Bhattacharya was contesting from CPM's side.  But Mimi Chakraborty had successfully stopped the Modi wave in Bengal on the basis of her popularity, Mamata's face and dream of Sonar Bangla.
