to former Prime Minister Narsimha Rao, former PM Chaudhary Charan Singh and renowned agricultural scientist SM Swaminathan. On this decision, National General Secretary of Congress Jayaram Ramesh attacked Modi government. He said, "Dr. Modi government is silent on legal status of minimum support price to farmers based on Swaminathan's formula. The government has opposed its promise with the farmers.
