Ram Lala Pran Pratishtha is being held in the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya on 22 January.  Due to which many states and union territories have declared a full day or half day holiday.  In which states there will be a holiday on 22 January or there will be work for half the day, let us know about it.  Let us tell you that on 22 January i.e. Monday, Ramlala's life is going to be consecrated in the Shri Ram temple built at Ramjanmabhoomi in Ayodhya.  For this historic occasion, Maharashtra, Chandigarh, Puducherry have declared 22 January as a government holiday for the entire day.
Apart from this, offices and institutions will remain closed for half a day on January 22 in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tripura and Haryana.  This means that the office will remain closed in the first half.  Offices will be open only from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.  There will be half day holiday in the morning due to Pran Pratistha.
To keep the atmosphere pure on the auspicious occasion of Pran Pratistha, many states have announced dry day and ban on meat sale on 22 January.  There will be no sale of liquor on January 22 in UP, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Assam.
 Know that due to the Pran Pratistha ceremony on January 22, the currency market will remain closed till 2.30 pm.  And it will open at 2.30 pm instead of 9 am.  According to RBI, the trading timings for the markets under the purview of the central bank will be from 2.30 pm to 5 pm on January 22.  The stock market will also remain closed on Monday.  The central government has announced a half-day holiday on January 22 for all its employees.
