A major accident was averted in Japan, two planes collided, 289 passengers were on board

There was a collision between two passenger planes in Hokkaido, Japan.  This collision occurred between the aircraft of Cathay Pacific Airways and Korean Airlines.  This accident happened when both the planes were on the ground.  But fortunately no one was hurt in this incident.
Japan's airline Cathay Pacific said that one of its aircraft collided with a plane of Korean Airlines at Japan Airport.
 Cathay Pacific said in a statement that Cathay Pacific has confirmed that this incident happened with a Cathay Pacific aircraft parked at New Chitose Airport in Sapporo.  Our plane collided with the Korean Air A330 plane present there.  It is fortunate that there were no passengers in our plane.  But at the time of this incident, there were 289 passengers present in the Korean Airlines plane.
