The Maldives controversy, which started after PM Modi's appeal to promote Lakshadweep tourism, is increasing.  While the government is promoting Lakshadweep, Maldives is seeing its tourism sector in danger.  Lakshadweep has come into discussion after PM Modi's visit. People are planning to visit Lakshadweep.  The way this controversy has escalated, Lakshadweep is going to become a hot spot of tourism in the future.  In such a situation, Tata Group has made a big announcement regarding Lakshadweep.  Giving a special gift to Lakshadweep Island, Tata Group has announced the opening of Taj-branded resorts there.  Tata Group's Indian Hotels Company is going to build these resorts in Lakshadweep.
This project of Tata will be completed by the year 2026 and will also be open to the public from the same year.  Tata will develop these hotels on behalf of IHCL.  These hotels will open on Suheli and Kadmat islands in Lakshadweep.  Obviously, when the number of tourists increases, the hotel and tourism industry will also grow.  There will be special arrangements for tourists in these Tata hotels.  The company has said that 60 villas and 50 water villas with 110 rooms will be built on Taj Beach in Suheli, Island.  At the same time, 75 beach villas and 35 water villas will be built in the 110-room Taj Hotel in Kadmat.  There will be many facilities for tourists like scuba diving, windsurfing, snorkelling, surfing, water skiing.
