Navy commandos land on hijacked MV Leela Norfolk, operation continues to rescue 15 Indians off Somalia coast

MV Lila Norfolk Hijacked: Indian Navy's INS Chennai has reached the MV Lila Norfolk ship that was hijacked near Somalia coast.  The Navy has landed helicopters and warned the pirates to leave Norfolk.
Meanwhile, news agency ANI quoted army officials as saying that all the crew members present on the MV Leela Norfolk ship are safe.  Marine commandos have started the operation.  The commandos have landed on the ship.  There are 15 Indians present on the hijacked ship.
In fact, UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) on Thursday (January 4) had reported the incident of hijacking of the Liberian flagged cargo ship MV Leela Norfolk.  UKMTO is a British military organization that monitors the movements of various vessels in strategic waterways.
