India-Pakistan: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that India has foiled Pakistan's strategy of using terror to bring India to the negotiation table.  In an interview with ANI, he said that New Delhi will not negotiate with its neighbor on terms where 'the practice of terrorism is considered legitimate.'

The Foreign Minister said, 'Pakistan has been using cross-border terrorism for a long time to put pressure on India for talks.  It is not that we will not negotiate with our neighbour, but we will not negotiate based on the conditions that they (Pakistan) have put forward, in which the practice of terrorism is considered legitimate and effective in bringing them to the negotiating table.  .."
