Team India's off-spinner Deepti Sharma made five Australian batsmen her victims in this match.  He took 5 wickets giving just 38 runs in 10 overs.  Elise Perry, Tahila McGrath, Beth Mooney, Annabel Sutherland, Georgia Wareham became their victims.  At the same time, Pooja Vastrakar got a success.  Shreyanka Patil and Sneh Rana also took 1 wicket each.  This is the first time in Indian women's cricket that a bowler has taken 5 wickets in an ODI match against Australia.
Off-spin bowler Deepti Sharma has become the first Indian bowler to take five wickets against Australia in Women's ODI.  She broke Nooshin Al Khadeer's record for the best performance by an Indian bowler in women's ODI against Australia.  In 2006, Khadir dismissed 4 batsmen for 41 runs while bowling 10 overs at St. Peter's College, Adelaide.
