Ram Temple Inauguration: The Hindu community of America is very excited about the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024. Hindu American citizens living here have made many plans to celebrate this occasion. This historic occasion will be celebrated throughout the week in American temples. Recently, to celebrate the inauguration of Ram Temple, the Hindu community took out a car rally in the suburbs of Washington DC on 16 December.
Tejal Shah of Hindu Temple Empowerment Council (HMEC) said, 'It is our good fortune and blessing that we are a part of this event and our dream temple is coming true after centuries of waiting and struggle. Everyone in America and Canada is emotional. There is a feeling of reverence in everyone's mind and they are waiting for the consecration of Lord Shri Ram in their temple. HMEC is the apex body of 1,100 Hindu temples in America.'
