After the success of 'Chandrayaan-3' in the space sector, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is going to give a big gift to the countrymen on the first day of the new year. ISRO has announced that the XPoSat mission will launch at 9:10 am on January 1. It is believed that this mission will prove to be an important milestone in India's space exploration journey.
The rocket PSLV-C58, which will carry XPoSat, will also host 10 other payloads in its final stage after placing the main satellite in the desired orbit.
XpoSat mission is India's first and the world's second dedicated polarimetry mission. Earlier only in 2021, NASA's Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) was launched.
