IPS Nina Singh: IPS Nina Singh becomes the first woman chief of CISF

Rajasthan's first woman IPS officer Nina Singh took charge as the first woman chief of CISF on Friday (29 December).  Neena Singh has been an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Rajasthan cadre since 1989 batch.  Now he has taken charge as Director General of Central Industrial Security Force at CISF Headquarters in Delhi.
Actually Neena Singh is the first woman officer to hold this post in CISF.  Before her appointment as Director General of CISF, she was serving as Special Director General in CISF.  She has been in CISF since 2021 and will continue in this post till her retirement on July 31 next year.  Anish Dayal Singh, who is heading the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), has been named Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) as part of the new appointments.
