Massive fire breaks out at Indian Oil Corporation plant in Chennai, one dead

One employee was killed and another seriously injured following an explosion at the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) plant in Tondiarpet, Chennai on Wednesday.  Sources have confirmed this.
 According to the police, the incident occurred when some workers were drilling holes in an empty ethanol storage tank at the plant.  Meanwhile, a fire broke out followed by an explosion in which an employee died on the spot.
 Another seriously injured employee has been taken to hospital.
 The cause of the accident is not yet known.  Fire department and emergency services officials said that by the time they reached the spot, the fire was extinguished.
