Terrorists have once again committed a nefarious act in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists have shot dead a retired police officer Mohammad Shafi in Gantamulla, Sheeri, Baramulla. When Mohammad Shafi was giving Azaan in the mosque, these terrorists did this cowardly act and shot him. During this, Shafi got injured and later died.
Immediately after this terrorist attack, security forces surrounded the entire area and a search operation is going on to arrest the terrorists involved in the terrorist attack. Jammu Kashmir Police has also tweeted about this and people have been advised to stay away from this area.
Let us tell you that last Thursday, terrorists had ambushed two army vehicles in Rajouri. In this attack, four army soldiers were martyred, while three soldiers were injured. People's Anti-Fascist Front, a branch of Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, took responsibility for this ambush. After this attack, security forces started a search operation in Dera street in Thanamandi-Surankote area of Poonch, which continues for the fourth day today.
