Sameer Khandekar, posted as Senior Professor and Dean of Student Welfare at IIT Kanpur, has died due to a heart attack. Pro. When Khandekar was giving a speech on stage, he suffered a heart attack. People could not understand for some time but after that he was hurriedly taken to the cardiology hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
Was giving lecture on good health::
Professor Khandekar was addressing the alumni meet program in the IIT auditorium on Friday and was talking about good health. His last words were to take care of your health and as soon as he said this he suddenly felt pain and after some time he sat down. People thought he was getting emotional but no one could understand anything. His face became sweaty and the professor fainted right there.
Dr. Neeraj Kumar of Cardiology Hospital said that by the time the patient was brought here, he was dead. After looking at his medical history and examining the body, we can say that he was dead. Death occurred due to cardiac arrest or cardiac block. Everything will become clear in the postmortem report.
