Let us tell you, on this day former Prime Minister of India Chaudhary Charan Singh was born.  Chaudhary Charan Singh was a farmer by profession.  Former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh had done many important works to improve agriculture in India.  This is the reason why he is called the messiah of farmers.  In such a situation, National Farmers Day is celebrated today as his birth anniversary.
