Article 370 Decision: The Supreme Court has given its verdict on Article 370. The Supreme Court said that it was right to abolish Article 370. After the end of the Constituent Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir, the President has the constitutional right to make Article 370 ineffective. The President had the right to abolish Article 370. Even if the Constituent Assembly did not exist at that time. Full statehood of Jammu and Kashmir should be restored as soon as possible. Told the Election Commission to hold elections by 30 September. Let us tell you that the petitions challenging the abrogation of Article 370 were heard in the Supreme Court for 16 days. After this, the decision in the case was reserved on 5 September.
The Supreme Court said that we do not consider the use of the President's power to remove Article 370 as wrong. The court considered the President's order valid. All the provisions of the country's constitution can be applicable to Jammu and Kashmir. This can be done under Article 370(1)d. The court, however, admitted that the decision to abolish Article 370 by using Article 367 of the Constitution was not correct.
