Worlddesk:
Before the presidential elections in America, President Joe Biden is being heavily criticized.  President Biden's son Hunter Biden was indicted on nine tax-related charges in California on Thursday.  Hunter faces three new felony and six misdemeanor charges in addition to the illegal gun purchase in Delaware in 2018.  In America, a person who consumes drugs cannot possess a gun or any other weapon, but according to the allegations, Hunter had violated American law by doing so.
Special counsel David Weiss said in a statement that Hunter Biden "spent millions of dollars on his luxurious lifestyle instead of paying his tax bills." According to the statement, Hunter Biden was accused of this allegation between 2016 and 2019.  At least US$1.4 million is focused on tax arrears.  During this period, he has also admitted to struggling with drug addiction.  Weiss said Hunter Biden could face up to 17 years in prison if convicted.  He said that the special investigation will continue.  Defense attorney Abbey Lowell accused Weiss of "bowing to Republican Party pressure" in the case.
"Based on the facts and the law, if Hunter's last name had been something other than Biden, he would not have been charged in Delaware and now in California," Lowell said in a statement. The White House declined to comment on the case.  Refused.  Prosecutor Leo Weiss said documents filed in a California court detail Hunter's spending.  “According to these documents, Hunter spent huge sums on drugs, luxury hotels, expensive cars and his girlfriends but he did not pay taxes.”
