Ultimately hope and struggle won.  41 laborers trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel of Uttarkashi for 17 days are being rescued safely .  Many experts from all over the world were involved in the rescue operation.

Professor Arnold Dix is ​​one of the experts who brought the workers out of the tunnel.  He is an expert in underground and transportation infrastructure.  He not only advises on the risks associated with underground construction but is also one of the world's leading experts in underground tunneling.  Dix is ​​also a barrister at the British Institute of Investigators.  Has over three decades of experience in engineering, geology, law and risk management matters.  In the year 2022, he was honored with the Committee Service Award by the National Fire Protection Association of America.  On Tuesday, when efforts were being made to rescue the workers trapped in the tunnel, Arnold Dix participated in the worship of Lord Baukh Nag Devta present near the tunnel.
