Team India Head Coach Update: Rahul Dravid will remain the head coach of Team India

Rahul Dravid remain Team India Head Coach: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ended the ongoing suspense over the head coach of Team India.  Rahul Dravid, who is coaching Team India till World Cup 2023, will remain the head coach in future also.  Along with Dravid, the contract has been extended for the support staff (senior men) of Team India.  However, BCCI has not yet clarified anything about what will be the duration of the contract.

 Recently, Rahul Dravid's contract ended after the ICC Cricket Cup 2023.  After its period ended, BCCI had discussed with Rahul Dravid.  After which Rahul Dravid unanimously agreed to extend his tenure.  During this, BCCI praised Dravid Rahul Dravid.  The board also praised VVS Laxman as the head of NCA and stand-in head coach.
 BCCI President Mr. Roger Binny said, “Rahul Dravid's vision and tenacious efforts have been key pillars in the success of Team India. As the head coach of the Indian cricket team, Rahul Dravid has the ability to not only accept challenges but also thrive on them.  "They are also praised for growing."  Binny further said- The performance of the Indian team is a proof of his strategic guidance.  I am happy that he has accepted the offer to remain the head coach.
