Central and state government teams were working day and night to rescue 41 workers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel of Uttarkashi. The team was successful on Tuesday morning and all the workers were able to come out safely. The special thing was that after the failure of the American auger machine, the team of rat miners who had been digging by hand became rowers. The Indian Army also helped the team in this.
Rat Miners are a team of experts who are experts in digging. NHIDCL MD Mahmood Ahmed and Uttarakhand Government Secretary Dr. Neeraj Khairwal said, this team is expert in digging at the rate of one meter per hour.
Let us tell you that on November 12, the day of Diwali, 41 workers were trapped inside due to a landslide in the under construction tunnel of Uttarkashi. For 17 days everyone was hoping to get out. All efforts were being made to take them out, but every time they were not getting success due to some obstacle or the other. The team got success on the 17th day.
