This is how NDRF team will rescue 41 laborers trapped in the tunnel

Nationaldesk:

41 laborers trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel of Uttarkashi for 17 days can come out any time.  Excavation in the tunnel has been completed.  800 mm thick pipe has also been laid.  And the NDRF team is also preparing to reach inside.
These 41 laborers were trapped in this tunnel on 12 November.  The operation was being carried out rapidly for so many days to evacuate these labourers.  Drilling was also being done with an auger machine brought from America.  But the last 10 meters were excavated by rat-miners.  And it is only because of them that it has been possible to reach the workers.
L&T team leader Chris Cooper believes that the workers can come out by 5 pm today.  He also said that after reaching out to the workers, vertical drilling has now been stopped.
One by one.  The NDRF team is going to reach the workers through the rescue pipe.  This team has stretchers with special wheels.  The workers will be taken out through the rescue pipe by lying on these stretchers.
But first of all, this rescue pipe will be cleaned thoroughly, so that not even the slightest debris or soil remains inside it.
NDRF has conducted a mock drill to get the workers out of the tunnel.  NDRF says that there is a lot of space in the rescue pipe and when the workers come out through it, they will not have any problem in breathing.
According to NDRF, a laborer will be made to lie down on a stretcher and then a rescue worker standing outside will pull him using a rope.  In this way the workers will come out one by one.
NDMA member Lieutenant General (retired) Syed Ata Hasnain said that it will take 3 to 5 minutes to evacuate a worker.  It may take three to four hours for all the workers to come out.
He told that three teams of NDRF will go inside the tunnel.  SDRF will also help in this.  Along with them, the team of paramedics will also go into the tunnel.
