The operation to save 41 laborers trapped in the tunnel of Uttarkashi is going on.  Today is the 16th day of the rescue operation.  The broken part of the auger machine has been taken out.  It was taken out by cutting it with a plasma cutter.  Meanwhile, manual drilling work was also started.  On the other hand, news is coming that till now more than 20 meters of vertical drilling has been completed.  According to officials, this work may take about four days.  It is being said that the workers will be thrown out using Shravan Kumar's technology, let us know about it.
Mahmooh Ahmed, MD of National Highway and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), said that we are expecting that the vertical drilling which we are doing from SJVNL will be completed in 100 hours.  Like I said, it may take four days.  Drilling has been done up to 20 meters.  Because the ring will have to be changed.  The machine will have to be changed.  Therefore it may take four days.
Officials hope that if there is no hindrance in this work then the trapped laborers will definitely come out.  Meanwhile, NDMA member Lieutenant General (retd) Syed Ata Hasnain said that after vertical drilling, the workers will be taken out one by one in carts.  This is something like Shravan Kumar's technique.  Who left home with his parents in a basket to take them on a pilgrimage to Char Dham.  It is possible that now the workers will be able to come out of the tunnel only with the help of Shravan Kumar's technology.
