NEET UG 2023 Eligibility Criteria: Changes have been made in the eligibility rules of NEET UG exam for admission to undergraduate medical courses like MBBA, BDS and BAMS. The National Medical Council (NMC) on Wednesday informed about changes in the eligibility criteria of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG). After the new changes, it has also brought great relief to those students whose applications were canceled on the basis of 11th and 12th subjects.
In the notice issued by NMC, it was said that after the preparation of Graduate Medical Education Regulation 2023, the earlier rules including various amendments are repealed.
Students who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology along with English in class 12th from a recognized board, even if it is as an additional subject, can appear for the NEET UG exam. The notice states that after passing 12th, the study of Biology and Biotechnology or any other required subject cannot be completed as an additional subject.
