In IMC 2023, Reliance launched the country's first satellite based internet service Jio Space Fiber. This service will provide internet service in those places of India where internet is still not available. Jio Space Fiber has shown how there has been a big change in internet connectivity in India. This service of Jio is being compared to Elon Musk's Starlink, which provides low-cost internet in remote areas of the world. Mukesh Ambani's son Akash Ambani had also given its trial to PM Modi in IMC 2023.
Ambani's Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited has started Geospace Fiber satellite based gigabit broadband service, while Musk's SpaceX has Starlink, which is a satellite internet service. Both promise to provide high speed internet in remote areas and where there is no internet.
