Tata Group, one of the oldest business houses of the country, has got a big victory in West Bengal.  Actually, Tata has got a big success in the old Singur land dispute going on there.  Now Mamata Banerjee government will give Rs 766 crore to the group's automobile company Tata Motors.

There was controversy regarding Nano plant::
Tata Motors' Nano Plant in Singur in West Bengal was given permission by the previous leftist government of Mamata Banerjee.  Under this permission, a factory was to be established on this land in Bengal for the production of Ratan Tata's dream project (Ratan Tata) Nano.  Then Mamata Banerjee was in the opposition and was against the policies of the leftist government and was opposing this project.  After this, when Mamala Banerjee's government was formed, as soon as she came to power, she gave a big blow to the Tata Group.
As soon as Mamata Banerjee assumed the post of Chief Minister of West Bengal, she decided to enact a law to return about 1000 acres of Singur land to those 13 thousand farmers.  Let us tell you that this was the same land which was acquired by Tata Motors to set up its Nano plant.  After this entire incident, Tata Motors had to shift its Nano plant from West Bengal to Gujarat.
