Vice President reached Guwahati to participate in the convocation

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar reached Guwahati on Monday morning to participate in a program here. The State Pass and Chief Minister of Assam welcomed him at the airport upon his arrival here. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar inspected the Guard of Honour.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is attending the third convocation of Assam Royal Global University in Guwahati on Monday as the chief guest. The convocation will be held at the University campus at Betkuchi, Guwahati and will be presided over by the Visitor of the University, Governor of Assam Gulab Chand Kataria. According to the information, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will be the guest of honour, along with him will be Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu. A total of 1197 students will be awarded degrees and diplomas on this occasion. 42 gold medals and 45 silver medals will also be awarded to place holders in various events.
