The war between Russia and Ukraine has lasted for more than one and a half years. And the war still continues. Meanwhile, America has claimed that Russia is giving death sentence to its own soldiers.
At the White House, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby claimed that Russian soldiers who did not follow orders were being killed. He also claimed that the entire unit was receiving death threats if they did not respond to Ukrainian firing.
John Kirby has described hanging and threatening to kill his own soldiers as 'barbarity'. However, he did not give any figures as to how many Russian soldiers have been sentenced to death so far or how many units have been threatened.
Kirby said that Russia wants to strengthen its hold in Donbass and Donetsk. Therefore, he is fielding such youth into the war who have not even taken proper training.
Kirby has made this claim at a time when recently US President Joe Biden has asked the House for permission to release funds to help Ukraine. Biden has sought permission to release funds worth $106 billion.
At the same time, recently Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed that his army has caused extensive damage to the Russian army. They claimed to have destroyed a brigade (2,000 to 5,000 soldiers) of the Russian army.
