US President Joe Biden on Wednesday compared the Hamas attack on Israel with 9/11 in the US and asked the Israelis not to be "consumed" by the rage while they feel it.
“I understand. Many Americans understand,” Biden said, likening the attack to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks at the World Trade Centre that killed nearly 3,000 people.
“You can’t look at what has happened here ... and not scream out for justice. While you feel that rage, don’t be consumed by it,” Biden was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
