PM Modi on Tuesday told scientists to aim to set up an Indian space station by 2035 and send the first Indian to the Moon by 2040. This information was given in an official statement. PM Modi gave these instructions during a meeting to review the preparations for the Gaganyaan mission and the first demonstration flight of the Astronaut Rescue System Test Vehicle scheduled for October 21.
The statement said, 'The meeting reviewed the preparations for the mission and confirmed its launch in 2025.' During the meeting, the Prime Minister outlined the future of India's space exploration efforts and asked scientists about the Venus Orbiter Mission and Mars Orbiter Mission. Urged to work towards various interplanetary missions including lander.
