Operation Ajay: Modi government has launched 'Operation Ajay' to bring back Indians stranded in Israel. This operation was started by Foreign Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday. The government has launched 'Operation Ajay' to facilitate the return of Indians from Israel who want to return home. On Thursday, the first plane from Israel will take off carrying Indians. The government is not even charging any fare from these passengers.
Let us tell you that five days ago, Hamas fighters had suddenly infiltrated into Israel and created a ruckus. There have been serial attacks on cities, due to which tension has increased. Israel has declared war and rained bombs on the Gaza Strip. About 2,150 people have been killed in Israeli retaliation. Whereas in Israel, more than 1300 people including 155 soldiers have been killed. Whereas the Palestinian side has put the death toll in Gaza at 950.
Meanwhile, India first issued guidelines regarding its citizens. After that, on Wednesday night, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar announced the launch of 'Operation Ajay'. He said, we are launching Operation Ajay to facilitate the return of our citizens who wish to return from Israel. Special charter flights and other arrangements are being made, he said. The government is fully committed to the safety and well-being of our citizens abroad.
