Asian Games 2023: India completes 100 medals

The Indian contingent completed 100 medals in the Asian Games when the women's Kabaddi team won the gold medal match by defeating Chinese Taipei 26-25 in a thrilling final on Saturday.  India has won a century of medals in the Asian Games.  India had never won 100 medals in the Asian Games before.  This is the first time in the last 72 years that India has won 100 medals in the Asian Games.  On the 100th medal count, India has 25 gold, 35 silver and 40 bronze medals.  This time the archery, shooting and athletics teams performed brilliantly for India.  This time the maximum number of medals have come in these sports.  India has won a total of 25 gold medals so far.  India had earlier won 22 gold medals.  This time athletics was the best for India.  India won 29 medals in athletics.  During this period, India won 6 gold, 14 silver and 9 bronze medals.  Apart from this, India won 22 medals in shooting.  7 gold, 9 silver and 6 bronze medals came in shooting.  India also won a medal in horse riding after 42 years.  Apart from this, the Indian team also won a historic silver medal in badminton.
