'Most of the G20 countries isolated Russia...', French President Macron said over attack on Ukraine

Internationaldesk:
India to chair the G20 in 2023.  French President Emmanuel Macron said the G20 summit had sent a message of unity.  "I thank PM Modi," Macron said.  Faithful to its principles, India tried its best to chair the G-20 to serve unity and peace and send a message of unity, while Russia still continues its aggression on Ukraine.  "We support deep reforms in global governance such as the UNSC, the World Bank and the IMF," Macron said.  We want to compensate the World Bank and France is supporting that.  We want more commitment from emerging countries to phase out coal.  We persist on debt restructuring of African countries.

Macron said France had upgraded its commitments.  I’m personally very concerned about some kind of growing mindset.  He said it is very easy for emerging countries to say that only developed countries have to fulfill commitments.  Europeans are facing their responsibilities.  Many countries need to make more efforts.  No one can say we will achieve our goals without phasing out fossil fuels.  I would like the AU to join the G20.  France was the first country to support their involvement in Bali.
