Embassy to open in Delhi, Timor-Leste, PM Modi announced

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Jakarta, Indonesia this morning to attend the ASEAN-India Summit.  PM Modi addressed the summit here.  He said that India's Act East policy is important.  The PM said that cooperation between India and ASEAN is steadily growing.  In Jakarta, Modi will attend the ASEAN-India Summit as well as the East Asia Summit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the opening of embassies in Delhi, Timor-Leste at the ASEAN-India Summit in Jakarta, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said.
In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, “The ASEAN-India summit is a testament to our shared vision and cooperation for a better future.  We look forward to working together in future areas to accelerate human progress.”
