ISRO Scientist Valarmathi Death: ISRO scientist N Valarmathi, who voiced the countdown of Chandrayaan-3 during its launch, has died. The cause behind the death of the female scientist is cardiac arrest. Valaramathi breathed his last on Sunday. Chandrayaan-3 is the third moon mission to be launched on July 14 and it was in this countdown that Valaramathi gave her last voice. Chandrayaan-3 was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota.
Valaramathi, who was over 50 years old and had been ill for the past few days, was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai and died of a heart attack. Valaramathi was the first female ISRO scientist to start the countdown to the triple launch of the Chandrayaan from Earth to the Moon. Moreover, Valaramathi was supposed to give his voice in the countdown of the C57 rocket of the Aditya L1 spacecraft launched last September 2, but due to poor health, this was not possible and another voice did the countdown of the launch instead.
