Dr.Anil Pant, managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) of Aptech, a vocational skills development and training company, passed away on Tuesday. He had not been in good health for the past few months.
The company informed the stock market of Pant's death and expressed deep condolences. Company said ,“Dr. Pant’s contribution and energy will be greatly felt in the company. All the directors and employees of the company extend their deepest condolences to his family.”
Pant was made Managing Director and CEO of Aptech in July, 2016. However, he had not been in good health for the past few months. The company also provided information about his health in June and July.
Aptech's board of directors had appointed Anuj Kakkar as interim CEO in July as Pant was on indefinite leave.
