Prime Minister Narendra Modi also hoisted the flag at the Red Fort and addressed the nation on the occasion of India's 77th Independence Day. During his 90-minute speech, PM Modi mentioned all the important issues and said that this period will determine the history of the next thousand years. During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi also mentioned the Supreme Court, after which CJI DY Chandrachud, who was seated in front of him, thanked him with folded hands.
In fact, Prime Minister Modi was talking about mother tongue. Modi said that, "We have emphasized on teaching in the mother tongue. I also thank the Supreme Court of India, that the Supreme Court of India has said that the operative part of what they will now give judgment will be the language in which the court." After PM Modi said so, CJI Chandrachud accepted his greeting with folded hands.
